it 4 O’clock again and the alarm goes off. I am seriously beginning to dislike the clock and all it’s wonderful features.
Up I get and It suddenly dawns on me that I am like the following film
Out on the bike with Mr and Mrs Pimple well splattered in the finest cream. I’ve found that if I don’t sit on the saddle it doesn’t hurt as much. Problem is my thighs are screaming from riding with Mark Bradley WIGGO Dunnington, and part of me knows I have Dunners with me on the way home!!!
Anyway I keep repeating “NO PAIN NO GAIN” oh and I mutter under my breath something along the lines of “Bibby you Ba%&*rd”
I actually arrive at work in good time and get myself ready for what was a bust day.
As work finishes I go and get into my Lycra (Yes that’s right Ladies Lycra) – The Lycra shows off all my 3 legs
That’s it and away me and Dunners set off and to be fair this time we keep a nice steady pace. Dunners then turns off to go home and I get myself in the zone and manage to ride home safely.
I must admit today has been a very had day with heavy legs at the moment..THIS CHALLENGE IS NOW BECOMING HARDER THAN I THOUGHT
If you would like to join me at any point of the ride, please just drop me a line or message Chris – I would love any company you can give me.
Also on the final day Chris will be riding with me and a few others on his hand-bike from the National Cycling Centre to Ashton Moss Tram (Near to work).
PLEASE FEEL FREE TO JOIN US AND LET US KNOW. WE AIM TO SET OFF FROM THE VELODROME @ 9am
I know i keep asking but please try to donate whatever you can to this challenge / charity as the money will go towards helping Chris and his Family raise funds to convert the downstairs garage into a bedroom for Chris (This last week he was sleeping on a blow up bed on his own downstairs)
