Up again early in the morning ready for my ride to work, teacake with Nutella and a strong coffee to get my energy levels going. Lovely ride into work but must have taken a good 10 miles to get the legs going again and then started tapping out a nice rhythm on the pedals.

Arrived to work and the day was very busy, but I was looking forward to the ride home to clear the cobwebs away. DISASTER struck and it started raining. IN FACT it wasn’t just raining – It was Raining cats and dogs!!

SO I GOT READY FOR THE RIDE HOME

The ride home was quite daunting in fact at times it was bloody scary as the rain along with the thunder and lightening just created chaos on the roads with massive puddles everywhere with the road surface very slippery.

Plus some crazy drivers in their cars.

I am now glad to be back home out of my wet clothing and getting warm by the fire.

A few times today in the weather I must admit to saying “Bloody Bibby!!”  Only Kidding!!

540 miles and 36 hours of riding
