Friday 9th September 2016

This morning I have to say I have woke up with heavy legs and for the first few miles it was hard going keeping the pedals turning. On coming through the city it started to rain, it wasn’t heavy rain but in Peter Kay’s Words “it’s that fine rain that gets you wet”

Anyway as the rain started and the blasted Saddle Sores it may be possible to hear me on the Go Pro mumble “Bloody Bibby!!” ha ha.

Well it was nice to arrive to work today to see Chris being his usual positive self and that he had tried Wheelchair Basketball last night (Thursday 8th) As he says with his Moto – M.S. It’s only 2 letters

After another long day I unfortunately left work slightly later than usual but I was keen to push myself as it is the end of the week and I have 2 rest days now to get myself ready for another 5 continuous days next week.

It was fantastic to arrive home tonight to my son Archie waiting for me and when looking down at the Odometer we have 420 miles completed. Technically on the route to ROME this puts me at Crancey is a commune in the Aube department in north-central France

Once again may I say if anyone wants to join me on the ride please just get in touch with me or have a look at the route

Please put the 30th September in your diary to join me on the ride into work with Chris Bibby who will be joining me at the junction of Alan Turing Way and Ashton Old Road (We will post the time nearer the date – but it will be in the morning on the way to work.
